Operating as a standalone clinic means facing the pressures of being a small business in a fast-moving industry. It is increasingly becoming more difficult to keep up with the market, maintain financial security and have a semblance of work-life balance.
Today’s staff wants greater scheduling flexibility, mentorship, and career development opportunities. Practice owners have less leverage and scale to invest in the people, processes, and facilities needed to compete to recruit and retain talent. Burnout is also an increased risk. Practitioners need a new approach to continue doing what they love while continuing to build for tomorrow.
